Nigerian gospel artist Moses Bliss has faced a major setback after being denied entry into Tanzania, forcing him to cancel his highly anticipated worship concert in Dar es Salaam. The event was expected to attract more than 60,000 worshippers, making it one of the biggest gospel gatherings of the year. Moses Bliss explained that his team had completed all the required travel preparations and received confirmation that their visas were cleared. They were even advised to use the “visa on arrival” option, which is a common arrangement for visiting artists. However, when they landed in Tanzania at midnight, things took an unexpected turn.
Immigration officials refused to grant entry, leaving the team stranded at the airport. Despite efforts to sort out the situation, they were not allowed to proceed. Moses Bliss described the experience as painful but remained calm, saying he believed everything happens for a reason.
Speaking to his followers online, Bliss said, “We were told everything was fine, but when we arrived, we were denied entry. I know God has a plan, and we will come back stronger.” His words reflected faith and humility, traits that have made him one of the most admired gospel figures across Africa.
The cancellation disappointed many Tanzanian fans who had eagerly waited to worship with him. Some had traveled long distances, while others took to social media to express their support. They commended his maturity and promised to welcome him again soon.
Other gospel artists have also spoken out, noting how visa and travel challenges continue to affect African musicians performing outside their home countries. Many encouraged Moses Bliss to stay strong, saying this moment would only make his ministry stronger.
Moses Bliss ended his message with gratitude to his Tanzanian fans, assuring them that he would return soon for another powerful worship experience.
